330rwhp/360rwtq Single Turbo V6 Mustang
|
Robert aka "DarkShadow" has put together an award winning V6 Mustang in both appearance and power. He recently dynoed his 2004 V6 Mustang at a healthy 330rwhp and 360rwtq with a single turbo on a completely stock 3.8 engine.
The turbo kit was purchased from TMA Turbo and he is currently running 11 P.S.I. with a "very conservative" tune. He has kept the stock 7.5 rear end along with the stock 3.27 gears but added a Detroit Locker T-Lok to help get the power to the ground. He has ran a best of 8.85 on the 1/8th mile.
Robert completed the install in one weekend with the help of a friend. He then had it trailored to Delk Performance in Tennessee where they dyno tuned the car and produced the 330rwhp that he is sitting at right now.
His future plans include a built 4.2 stroker kit with ported heads and intakes along with a high stall converter in a never ending quest to produce more power to the wheels.

"I was a young man when I started this. You work half your life and then have it snatched," said Bramlett, 52.
Ford also is trying to protect the value of the business it has built since 1903, said Gregory Phillips, a partner in the firm that drafted the cease and desist letter. Read Whole Article
